Your first Slowly Atelier workshop

Slowly Atelier creative experience

Choose something you’d enjoy

Perhaps you’ve spotted a paper lamp, want to learn to carve a stamp or have been meaning to pick up a paintbrush again. You don’t have to choose the technique that looks easiest. Choose the one you’d enjoy spending a few hours trying. Beginner workshops are designed so you can start without having done it before.

More than learning a technique

At Slowly Atelier, we look for places with character and a connection to nature whenever possible. We work with small groups so there’s time for guidance and conversation. Most experiences include something to nibble or taste together. Learning matters, but so do the setting, the company and having time to enjoy yourself.

Coming on your own

You’re welcome to book one place and come on your own. Or bring someone along and book your places together. Open workshops don’t require you to organise a group. For a celebration or a team experience, we arrange a private format and agree the date, setting and details before you book.

A few things to check

Read the workshop description for the date, length, venue, materials and what’s included. If you’d like to bring children, need to discuss access or want to check the session’s language, ask before booking. Children are welcome at most events; how they take part or accompany you depends on the activity, space and tools.

What you take home

In making workshops, you take home something you’ve created: a lamp, a clock, printed fabric, earrings or a painting. With sketching, the work stays in your notebook. Each technique has its own process and finishing arrangements, explained in the event details. Pick a date from the calendar and book through the channel shown for that session.
