A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS
Come as you are.
Ask what you need.
A little information to help you choose your workshop and feel at home.
Do I need previous experience?
No. Most experiences welcome beginners. We explain the process and accompany you. The event description tells you if a particular session has specific requirements.
Can I bring children?
Children are welcome at most events. I’m a mother too, and I want to make room for family life. Some workshops suit shared participation; at others a child may accompany you with something to keep them occupied. Tell me in advance so we can discuss ages, materials and space. Some sessions may require a different arrangement.
What is included?
Check each event page for materials, duration, what you make and any refreshments. Conditions vary between venues and formats.
Where do workshops happen?
Our bases are A Mariña Lucense and the Barbanza. Gatherings take place around Galicia and western Asturias. Check the calendar and booking page for the specific venue; the map shows towns.
How do I book?
Choose a date in the calendar and select “Book your places”. Each event states its booking channel: Ticket Tailor, directly with the host, free registration or no booking required.
What does O Carboeiro include?
The 25 October gathering costs €40 and includes yoga, a snack and the sketchbook workshop. It starts with yoga at 10:00, followed by a snack and creative time; the walk depends on the weather. Book with O Carboeiro directly.
Can I organise a private experience?
Yes. Share your place, approximate date, number of people and ages. We’ll suggest a format and confirm materials, duration, needs, budget and terms before reserving.
Can I give a workshop as a gift?
Gift vouchers are sold seasonally through Ticket Tailor. The Christmas 2026 campaign closes on 6 January 2027 inclusive. They are valid for 6 months from purchase at any Slowly Atelier workshop with available places, regardless of location. Pay the difference if your workshop costs more. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or items; applicable statutory rights remain unaffected. Explore gift vouchers ↗
What if I need to cancel?
Dated workshop tickets are not refundable if you cancel or do not attend. If Slowly Atelier cancels, including when the minimum group size is not reached, you can choose another experience or a refund. Check the booking terms before paying.
What about accessibility or specific needs?
Tell us before booking so we can check the venue, seating, route and materials. We’ll discuss what is possible for that session.
Which languages can I use?
Creative experiences are available in Spanish, Galician or English, depending on the group and session. This website is available in Spanish, Galician and English. Check the language of your chosen workshop before booking.
